Hello. Well, I really want to thank you for creating Free !, seriously, this series changed my life, my perspective of it. This remember me how valuable and great it's a friendship, precious, true, especially Rin and Haru.
Free! has taught me that even if I haven't a dream yet, I can find it and follow it, fight to fulfill it, and never give up.
Free! It is so beautiful that talking about it makes me very happy, laugh and cry with emotion , but worth shedding tears if is for this.

I avoided this series for so long because I had a feeling it would resonate with me too strongly. I was right, but I do not regret it. I haven't felt so connected to two characters in a very long time. The trials and hardships particularly with Haru and Rin pulled me on an emotional rollarcoaster to why I used to swim, why I stopped, and why I wanted to return to it so badly. This series has reopened my eyes to a world I loved in addition to providing a heart-warming and amazing story I will continue to enjoy for many years to come.

The story and characters taught me to never give up on my dreams and work hard to make them come true. All the characters are lovable to me, but Haruka and Rin have a special place in my heart. I love the bond they share since they first met in elementary school, their friends/rivals relationship, how they helped each other in hard times, and how passionate they are about swimming. Free! is not just a quality beautiful looking anime series, it also tells a wonderful story. I came to really care for the characters especially Rin and Haru. Their lives mirror very real issues and situations. It was beautiful to see how much their friendship grew and how much they support each other.
First and for most, I want to thank you KyoAni & Oujo Kouji-san for bringing Free! into my life. I can not even put it into words how much it has meant to me. Just as Rin was left awestruck the moment Haru dove into the pool, that is how I felt the moment I saw these two wonderful characters. I identified with both Rin & Haru, so much so, that at times it was a bit scary. Plunging head on to pursue what makes you happy, all the while accomplishing that wonderful goal with someone by your side that inspires and gives you the push you need is truly what dreams are made of. Rin & Haru's relationship and their dynamics will always be special. So, thank you once again for all those special Rin & Haru moments from episode 1 to that wonderful Australia episode, the mook, and everything else these two wonderful boys have shared.

You created a story in which I saw myself reflected many times, I fell in love with every character and even though some took more than others, every single one of them taught me things. Rin taught me to never give up my dreams and to stand up to what I believe, Makoto to be caring for everyone but stern at the same time, Nagisa taught me his optimism, Rei his dedication, Haruka taught me that I should always appreciate my friends because they are way more important than I think and that I should always be free and whatever I desire to be. this things will always stay with me as well as the plot and everything it is, it's such an amazing world but at the same time so realist. An on the other side, I am also thankful for Rin and Haru's relationship, all they are, how they developed (god damnit the Australia episode) and just how much I desire to find someone that looks at me or cares as much as they do for each other.
